Chevo Wins IRS Contract Providing IT Services to EDOS and MIDS Programs

Chevo, a long-time partner with Internal Revenue Service (IRS), is proud to announce the award of a new contract to provide Information Technology (IT) Contract Administration and Change Management Support Services to the Enterprise Development, Operations Services (EDOS) and the Managed Infrastructure and Data Services (MIDS) programs.

The EDOS program will be the largest application development vehicle at IRS, estimated at $2.5B. It will be a multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) to streamline the acquisition process to maintain and enhance the IRS’s systems. The MIDS procurement involves transitioning the Enterprise Storage Support (ESS) from its current Tier 2 infrastructure that is IRS purchased and managed to a new single MIDS vendor subscription-based model that incorporates both servers and storage infrastructure to maintain security and flexibility for IRS storage requirements.

This 2.5-year contract, valued at $4 million, will support the EDOS Program Management Office (PMO) to provide initial contract and change management oversight for the EDOS contract and subsequent task orders. The PMO will work in close coordination with the contracting officers (COs) of the current IT contracts that will be transitioned to EDOS as well as the COs of any new tasks awarded under EDOS. Chevo’s EDOS support will include developing and supporting a contract management and administration framework, implement an Agile Service Point implementation strategy, providing change management support, and helping the IRS make the EDOS program a success. For MIDS, Chevo will provide governance, implement program management and phase gate processes, and develop and implement communications and change management plans to help the IRS transition MIDS into operations. This is great new work that extends our footprint at the IRS and our success on the GSA OASIS contract vehicle.
